WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Position Overview:

The Retail Store Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the overall success of the store by ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering a strong customer experience, and leading the store team. This role works closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop employees, and maintain GOAT USA brand standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support daily store operations, including scheduling, shift coverage, and task delegation
  • Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to shifts.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate team members to drive performance and accountability
  • Assist in hiring, training, and ongoing development of store employees
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
  • Partner with the Store Manager to execute company initiatives and store goals
  • Drive sales by supporting GOAT USA sales strategies and team performance
  • Oversee inventory management, including restocking, organization, and accuracy
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually aligned with brand standards
  • Open and close the store, including registers, cash handling, and security procedures
  • Maintain accurate cash management, deposits, and sales reporting
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers
  • Support merchandising efforts, including seasonal changes and visual displays
  • Coordinate inventory flow and stockroom organization
  • Fulfill online and in-store pickup orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain store supplies, including cleaning and operational materials
  • Communicate effectively with store leadership and corporate teams

Requirements
