Job description

Overview

Lutron is seeking an Information Technology Analyst to join our Information Technology Infrastructure team at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, implement, and support innovative, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions that enable critical business operations across the enterprise.

At Lutron, you're hired for a career—not just a job. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise in server, storage, and enterprise systems administration while working alongside experienced industry professionals. Through hands‑on projects, mentorship, and continuous learning, you'll build a strong technical foundation and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies. As your career grows, you'll have the flexibility to deepen your technical specialization, pursue leadership opportunities, or explore other areas of the business.

From day one, you'll have the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of enterprise technologies and tools, including:

  • Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, SCCM, WSUS, and Print Services
  • VMware ESXi virtualization platforms
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
  • HPE server hardware and infrastructure solutions
  • Infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
  • Enterprise management and monitoring tools including Nagios, Cacti, ServiceNow, Cohesity Helios, Terraform, Ansible, and other modern infrastructure platforms

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across the full infrastructure lifecycle—from deployment and automation to monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement—while contributing to the systems that power a global organization.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and optimize Lutron's server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across the enterprise.
  • Safeguard server environments through proactive security measures, including patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system updates.
  • Design, deploy, and implement server and storage solutions that support infrastructure growth, modernization, and business objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate needs, and develop scalable server and storage architectures that meet business and application demands.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and forecast infrastructure requirements to ensure solutions remain current, supportable, and aligned with long‑term business needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, leveraging strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver successful technology solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent degree in the IT field required.
  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned required.
  • 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including server and storage operations (patching, backups, and performance management), designing and deploying server and storage solutions tailored to application requirements, and supporting technology evaluation, testing, and lifecycle management.
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H‑1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.

Lutron Electronics is an Equal Opportunity – Affirmative Action – Employer. We welcome qualified, motivated applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
