Company Description FoxBox Portable Storage & Cooling provides portable storage and cooling solutions for both residential and commercial customers. Founded in 2023, the company offers flexible storage options that allow customers to pack at their own pace and have containers delivered to their preferred location, with warehousing available for longer moves or remodeling projects. FoxBox also delivers portable refrigeration and freezer units for temporary cooling needs at events and other short-term uses. The company is dedicated to exceptional customer service, with knowledgeable representatives ready to answer questions and support customers throughout the storage and cooling process.
Role Description The Local Class A CDL Driver role at FoxBox Portable Storage & Cooling is a full-time, on-site position based in Omaha, NE. The driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver, pick up, and reposition portable storage containers and cooling units for local residential and commercial customers. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, following established routes and schedules, securing loads, and assisting with the loading and unloading of containers as needed. The role also involves maintaining accurate delivery documentation, communicating professionally with customers and the operations team, and adhering to all company safety protocols and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and strong Truck Driving experience.
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to safe, compliant operations.
  • Ability to manage basic Truck-related inspections, maintenance checks, and documentation.
  • Experience with Unloading and handling portable storage containers or similar equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; previous local delivery or logistics experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional communication with customers and teammates.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required and work in varying outdoor conditions.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work a consistent full-time schedule.
