JOB TITLE: Facility Manager
LOCATION: Denver, Colorado
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly-Non-exempt
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: District Manager
PAY RANGE: $23/hour starting

POSITION SUMMARY
Greenbox Self Storage is looking for a Facility Manager. Our self storage business needs a motivated operator who is up to the challenge of providing first class customer service, sales and facility upkeep across our four Self Storage locations across the Denver and Centennial area.
Greenbox Self Storage Rockstars are always up to the challenge in our fast-paced facilities, are customer service-oriented, passionate, energetic, take ownership of their work, and able multi-task. They are confident in their decision-making abilities and possess a real go-getter attitude.
WHAT THE TEAM NEEDS FROM YOU
  • Work location: This position is primarily based at our South Santa Fe location. However, flexibility to work at all four locations. This is non-negotiable.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability when supporting the District Manager with operations across our four storage facilities.
  • Work independently at our properties, overseeing and completing operational activities across our five locations. This includes but is not limited to daily office tasks, retail sales, light maintenance and janitorial duties.
  • Conduct weekly inspections at each of our five locations; confirm retail and rental inventory availability and ensure properties are in excellent “ready to rent” condition at all times.
  • Willingness to work regular Saturdays.
  • Provide consistent, seamless, and high-quality customer experiences.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely, effective, and highly professional manner.
  • Escalate issues to the District Manager for immediate resolution where appropriate.
  • Rent storage spaces and manage the leasing process. Understand key facility differentiators, create value, and optimize every conversion opportunity.
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs.
  • Utilize our Point of Sales system (POS) to take payments and manage customer accounts. Collect and record check payments.
  • Pursue collections and support the auctions process.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 2+ years of customer service and sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Promote a team-first environment that embodies our company values.
  • Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Office365 suite and using computers
  • A flexible schedule - We are open every day except for Sunday’s and major Holidays. You must be willing to work regular Saturdays.
  • You must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between our five locations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours/day;​​​​​​
  • Ability to work outdoors during all seasons
  • Able to bend, climb ladders and lift up to 30 pounds

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
