Mid Level Experience Crew Member - Join Our Team at Landscaping by J. Michael
Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for an mid level experienced crew member to join our growing team. If you're someone who takes pride in learning this field, enjoys hands-on work, and is passionate about the green industry, we'd love to hear from you.
With over 40 years as a trusted leader in Massachusetts, we provide high-quality landscaping services to both commercial and residential clients across the South Shore. Our long-standing reputation comes from the care, craftsmanship, and expertise we bring to every project.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Crew Member, you will learn best practices on installing pavers, SRW, concrete flat work, brick and natural stone work. You'll learn how to be efficient, problem solve, grading and using the latest tools and equipment.
  • Assist in laying out projects and setting elevations
  • Work on a variety of builds including walkways, patios, natural stone walls, bluestone, pavers, and segmented walls
  • Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, and other tools. Proper licenses are required.
  • Help maintain equipment and vehicles, keeping everything clean, safe, and in good working order

What We're Looking For
  • At least 3 years of experience in masonry and landscape construction
  • A valid Massachusetts driver's license
  • Hydraulic license is a plus
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
  • CDL B is preferred
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to lead by example
