Lotus Landscapes & Arboriculture/Lotus Design is looking for an experienced Landscape and Construction Foreman/Site Supervisor to join our crew. $500 sign on bonus after first month of employment!

Founded in 2003, Lotus Design is a Design and Build company with a central focus on both auxiliary structures and landscape construction that is rooted in sustainability, detailed craftsmanship, and an uncompromising dedication to quality. Our crew is a bold, eclectic team with expertise in eco-friendly practices, general construction, masonry, horticulture, arboriculture, and fabrication. A majority of our projects are on the Kitsap Peninsula and Jefferson County, although we do work throughout western Washington.

The Foreman/Site Supervisor will be responsible for performing manual and machine-operated general construction, landscape construction, and interior construction as directed. They will be tasked with management of residential and public construction projects through all phases of implementation including pre-construction and final delivery. They will also be called upon to manage on-site crews, scheduling, sub-contractors, and manage quality control.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Trustworthy and organized
  • 2-3 years experience in landscape and general construction work
  • 2-3 years experience in heavy machine operation and related job site safety protocols
  • Able to review and interpret blueprints for construction projects
  • Experienced in on-site crew management
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication and can demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
  • Able to perform and manage tasks as directed by upper management
  • Interested in or, ideally, has experience with techniques related to custom construction, horticulture, and arboriculture
  • Interested in growing their expertise in general construction and landscape construction
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds and has no mobility issues

Experience in solar power, water catchment, stone masonry and/or concrete work a plus!
