Universal Stone seeks motivated, reliable, organized, and hardworking individuals to grow with the company as our business expands.


Summary

As a Sales Estimator, you will accurately estimate the costs of projects to meet applicable criteria, sales goals, and deadlines to maximize productivity and profitability. Must have commercial millwork experience working with Innergy Software.


Job Description:

  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to increase sales
  • Generate new leads and relationships
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide customers with accurate estimates
  • Analyze blueprints, a variety of proposals, and requirements to prepare cost estimates for customers
  • Accurately estimate cost, potential time delays, and all materials and supplies needed for each project
  • Prepare and submit competitive estimates to our customers on time
  • Pursue and follow up with submitted proposals to get awarded contracts
  • Communicate with each customer on the project schedule and proactively alert them in the status of their project.
  • Move projects forward in the sales process through relationship building and creating a sense of urgency when appropriate
  • Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
  • Perform other duties to support the company's goals and mission.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proven work experience in Customer and Sales support role
  • Excellent communication (oral/written), sales, and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-disciplined, self-starter


Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • Manufacturing and Granite and Millwork experience preferred
  • Construction related Sales Experience required
