Job description

Job Summary:
The warehouse associate will increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.
Job Duties:
  • Pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickup
  • Palletizing orders in a stable and safe manner that is acceptable for shipping
  • Using handheld scanner to perform necessary functions for picking
  • Verifying that product being picked is correct description and quantity
  • Staging all finished picked goods in assigned shipping departments on pallets or push carts
  • Report or quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person
  • Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order
  • Follow all established policy and safety guidelines
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification
  • Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Recognizes and understands product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
  • Understands basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures
  • Able to work independently with some direction
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
  • Operates forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety amp; Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
  • Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 70 lbs)
  • Ability to stand/walk for duration of work hours
  • Pass a drug screen and background check
