Job description

PT Stock Crew
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, PART-TIME
JOB SUMMARY:
To unload freight from trucks and stock merchandise in the correct aisles and shelves throughout the store.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. The Stocking crew splits and stocks all freight. They are NOT considered a regular service teammate at Farm & Home Supply and are not to be required to operate the cash registers.
  2. Assist customers with locating merchandise and inform them of helpful product knowledge.
  3. Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise space allocation.
  4. Match the UPC number on merchandise to the appropriate shelf label.
  5. Operate handheld device.
  6. Removing damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
  7. Follow Company guidelines for department merchandising.
  8. Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  9. Follow loss prevention and safety procedures including regular safety checks.
  10. Attend store and job-related meetings.
  11. Communicate effectively with customers, management, and coworkers.
  12. Follows all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  13. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  14. Complete certified training to operate pallet jacks and tow motors. (Must be at least 18 years old)
  15. Capable of lifting up to and including 50 lbs.
  16. Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.
  17. Other duties and responsibilities that may be required to meet the needs of the business.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Minimum Age requirement is 18 YEARS OLD and must possess great customer service and communication skills.
