Position Overview: Provide TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatment, monitor and build relationships with our patients during those treatments.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Administers TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatments and supports patient during treatments using positive communication and reinforcement to ensure optimal results are achieved.
  • Monitor for adverse effects and notify the doctor or provider. Assist in the management of adverse effects including seizures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
  • Complete all required clinical and administrative documentation to accepted standards of practice, accurately, legibly, and by established timelines on electronic health record (EHR) system and paper as needed.
  • Assist psychiatrist by gathering and reviewing medical records to aid in appropriate patient selection
  • Collaborate with providers to ensure understanding and usage of proper treatment protocols.
  • Provide psychoeducation curriculum to patients, communicate, and educate patients on importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  • Operate and control settings of electrophysiologic recording device. Measure, calculate, and log recorded electrophysiologic information. Operate and control settings of electrophysiologic recording device. Measure, calculate, and log recorded electrophysiologic information.
  • Follow clinical and operational processes in accordance with workflows and SOPs.
  • Regularly travels between clinics and provides back-up/float coverage as needed, based on operation need and patient schedule including before/after business hours.

Other Duties:
  • Participate in scheduled individual supervision, health team meetings, in-service, training, interdisciplinary work groups, staff meetings, and other required meetings.
  • If appropriately qualified as a Medical Assistant, may be required to back up/float into Medical Assistant duties as requested by Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor and/or providers.

Minimum Qualifications:
Selected candidates will be slotted in either the TMS Tech Trainee or TMS Tech based on relevant years of experience.
TMS Tech Trainee
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • TMS tech experience, Experience in healthcare (as a MA, CNA, EMT, EEG tech, Medic, etc.), EHR experience, and/or previous experience in a mental health environment preferred.
  • Must complete FCC TMS, Brainsway, MagVenture and Appollo trainings within 8 weeks of hire.
  • Current driver's license required.

TMS Tech Trainee Hourly compensation: $23.00
TMS Tech
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum six months TMS tech experience required. Experience in healthcare (as a MA, CNA, EMT, EEG tech, Medic, etc.), EHR experience, and/or previous experience in a mental health environment preferred.
  • TMS Certification required within first year of employment.
  • Current driver's license required.

TMS TECH Hourly compensation range: $24.00 - $27.00 based on years of relevant experience.
Location: Travel within the South Denver Region
