Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a STICU Days position requiring TNCC certification and at least 2 years of trauma ICU experience.

Details
  • Work in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit of a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center
  • Care for adult trauma patients and post-surgical patients from General Surgery, Vascular Surgery (including Carotid procedures), and Neuro Surgery
  • 8-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3
  • Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
  • 13-week assignment length
Requirements
  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and TNCC
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
  • Trauma ICU experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
  • Provide critical care nursing to trauma and post-surgical patients requiring close monitoring
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
