How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Deliver sterile, reliable surgical sets by inspecting, assembling, and validating instruments so operating room teams have complete, functional tools for safe patient care.

  • Master decontamination and sterilization procedures following strict Manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs) to ensure zero cross-contamination and safeguard patient outcomes.

  • Maintain precise inventory control to build accurate, timely surgical case carts that prevent costly delays during critical procedures.

  • Operate advanced sterilization equipment with meticulous attention to clean standards, ensuring every piece of machinery and container functions at peak safety levels.

  • Drive clinical excellence through peer audits to support continuous quality assurance and champion high standards across the sterile processing team.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the InternationalAssociation of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) Preferred.
  • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Boardfor Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
