Location: New York, NY
Shift: Night Shift - 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (EOW required)
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring in a progressive care setting. The ideal candidate is skilled in handling cardiac and respiratory patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit
  • Monitor cardiac patients and interpret telemetry
  • Manage patients requiring ventilator support
  • Administer medications and treatments safely
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Document accurately in EPIC EMR
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications:
  • Active NYS RN License
  • BSN required
  • Minimum 2 years of Stepdown / Tele / Cardiac experience
  • Ventilator experience (2+ years - must be on resume)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
