Patient Demographics: Primarily Adult (Geriatric frequent)

Average Daily Volume: 8 cases per day

Case Mix: Angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, UFE; additional ortho, gyn, urology cases

Trauma Level: Level I

Support Staff Available: Manager, two APPs supporting three Interventional Radiologists

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, thrombolysis, and UFE.

Provide hospital-based IR services during day-shift schedule (7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).

Participate in Q3 call coverage, including every third weekday and every third weekend.

Collaborate with a team of three interventional radiologists and two APPs to manage patient care.

Consult with referring physicians on interventional radiology cases.
