Job description

The Stellantis Industrial System Lead (SIS Lead) will work closely with the Master Plan Manager to develop and implement the Stellantis Industrial System; lead the roll out and monitor activities in all Domains; coordinate priorities of SIS in daily activities of the plant; track and monitor all domain progress regularly. The SIS Lead will use the Master Plan and Project Plan activities and timing to ensure all domains alignment of SIS with plant goals. The SIS lead will lead the Continuous Improvement and People Development Domains. Develop and/or lead the development of domain training materials and support Domain Leader succession planning. Responsible for coordinating the strategy and logistics of internal and external reviews/audits liaising with SIS Central Team and/or other sources for plant support. Support the Domains in the creation and implementation of best practices. Work closely with Domain teams to develop and implement route maps and coach to succeed in meeting objectives. Remove roadblocks and assist struggling Domains with recovery, implementation and timing. As needed, coordinate/visit other plants to benchmark, attend audits to gain knowledge.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology and implementation or continuous improvement systems, such as TPS and Lean Manufacturing operation
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to break down concepts for end user understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members
  • Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team
  • Ability to formulate methods of how to best implement processes for end user success
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems, lean manufacturing and employee development
  • Experience with training systems including needs analysis, planning, implementation and measuring training effectiveness
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a union environment
  • Previous experience in World Class Manufacturing/Stellantis Production Way
  • Production/maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
