Job description

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator to join our precast concrete manufacturing team. This position is responsible for building and assembling rebar cages and reinforcing steel structures used in concrete production. Candidates must have experience measuring, cutting, bending, and tying rebar and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret shop drawings and production specifications
  • Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate rebar according to project requirements
  • Build and assemble rebar cages and reinforcing steel structures
  • Tie rebar and install reinforcing materials for concrete products
  • Operate rebar cutting, bending, and fabrication equipment
  • Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality standards
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Steel Fabricator, Ironworker, or Rebar Fabricator
  • Experience bending, cutting, tying, and assembling rebar
  • Ability to read a tape measure and fabrication drawings
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working in an industrial or outdoor environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
