The steam turbine factory repair sales role is a rewarding opportunity to collaborate across many parts of the power generation sector to provide customers with high-quality factory service opportunities. Your day will consist of interfacing with engineering, tendering, and region sales colleagues to develop scope and commercial proposals for future and emergent blade replacement opportunities.

How Youโ€™ll Make an Impact

  • Provide expert technical sales support to utility customers for steam turbine blade replacement opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate cost estimates and lead times for open market, long-term partnership (LTP), and factory repair opportunities.
  • Maintain and update opportunities in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to deliver precise factory forecasts, revenue tracking, and sales performance insights.
  • Monitor and analyze market price levels and trends for steam turbine blades to enhance order entry and improve profit margins.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives aimed at increasing Siemens Energyโ€™s competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and overall value proposition for customers.
  • Partner with local and global planning teams to forecast blade inventory needs, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery for site and factory installation teams.

What You Bring

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in related field or equivalent work experience. A strong background in Steam Turbines is preferred (if there is no background in Steam Turbines, be prepared to learn fast).
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience of Technical Sales, Field Service, Manufacturing, Project Management and/or Repair Services.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills by effectively handling multiple concurrent projects with diverse stakeholders while ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Leverage knowledge of sales and bid preparation processes, along with engineering drawings, bills of materials, and material specifications, to develop complex bid and pricing strategies.
  • Utilize proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications, and SAP, combined with strong analytical abilities, to listen, learn, and lead initiatives successfully.
  • Willing to travel 10% domestically.
