About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Steaming & Pressing Specialist to join our production team. This role is responsible for the final presentation of our high-quality, sustainably made garments. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, consistency, and craftsmanship, ensuring each finished piece meets our quality and sustainability standards before distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Steam and press finished garments to achieve a polished, professional appearance

  • Handle delicate, natural, and sustainable fabrics with care and expertise

  • Ensure garments meet quality standards for appearance, structure, and finish

  • Follow garment-specific pressing and steaming guidelines

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation

  • Properly operate and maintain pressing and steaming equipment

  • Identify and report garment defects or quality concerns to the production team

  • Support sustainable practices by minimizing waste and energy usage

  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards

Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in garment steaming, pressing, or finishing (preferred)

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

  • Knowledge of fabric types, particularly natural and sustainable materials

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • Experience working in a fashion production or apparel manufacturing environment

  • Familiarity with eco-conscious or sustainable apparel standards

  • Strong time-management skills and efficiency

  • Careful handling of luxury or high-quality garments

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day

Pay Details: $19.50 per hour
