McCourt Construction, a Boston-based diversified General Contractor with a rich history dating back to our founding in 1893, seeks a driven, enthusiastic Office Engineer to join our team. We pride ourselves on tackling the Northeast’s most complex civil projects, with our Heavy Civil Division specializing in large public works projects, and our Energy Division focusing on expanding America's most complex projects in the electric, gas, and steam industries.


Duties will include, but are not limited to,

  • RFIs
  • Submittals
  • Constructability reviews
  • Drawing accuracy reviews
  • Redesigns where necessary
  • Managing subs and suppliers
  • Document management
  • Cost control
  • Surveys
  • Scheduling
  • Other tasks required to complete projects


Applicants should have the following qualifications,

  • Ability to interact with individuals from the labor force and negotiate with customers.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Be computer literate (experience with AutoCAD and other industry-related programs is a plus).
  • Desire to work in a team environment and collaborate to get the job done.
