Job Summary

SteamSOS is seeking a licensed Massachusetts 2nd Class Stationary Engineer / High Pressure Boiler Operator to operate a temporary rental boiler system at a hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operators who take pride in maintaining safe and reliable boiler plant operations in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and monitor high-pressure rental boilers.
  • Perform routine rounds, inspections, and equipment readings.
  • Maintain accurate operating logs and records.
  • Monitor boiler water levels, pressure, and overall system performance.
  • Respond to alarms and operational issues as needed.
  • Follow all hospital safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized boiler room.

Qualifications

  • Valid Massachusetts 2nd Class Stationary Engineer License (Required).
