Velvet Midnight Records is expanding our Official Studio Network , a national roster of vetted, independent recording studios that serve our artist base and the broader creative community. Whether you operate a private home studio or a full commercial space, this is your chance to generate steady income—without managing bookings, customer service, or admin tasks. What Is the Velvet Midnight Studio Network?

We give artists access to trusted, affordable recording spaces—and give studio owners the freedom to earn without the hassle of doing everything themselves. We promote your space, handle all logistics, and send you monthly payouts. It's that simple.

Your Role As a network studio, your job is straightforward: Maintain a clean, professional, and client-ready space Show up on time for sessions Deliver a great experience (as host, engineer, or both) Communicate availability or changes when needed You don't need to worry about advertising, contracts, payments, or client outreach. We handle all of it. Our Role Promote your studio to our national artist base List your studio on our site Book sessions and confirm schedules Handle payments and customer support Collect artist contracts and session details Provide direct support via your VMR point of contact Compensation & Earnings 50/50 split on hourly session fees Typical hourly studio rate: $50/hour You keep 100% of any additional services (mixing, coaching, etc.) booked directly Who Should Apply We're seeking studios that are: Located anywhere in the United States Private or commercial—both are welcome Equipped with basic professional gear (DAW, interface, monitors, mic) Maintained in a clean, safe, and visually presentable condition Application Process You can apply directly through LinkedIn.
