The qualifications to get a job as a stay-at-home mom depend largely on the type of work you do and your previous work professional experience. Some stay-at-home moms had full-time careers before kids and use those skills to develop a remote or freelance position in the same field in which they work. Others may be entering the workforce for the first time and must have at least a high school diploma or GED certificate to get entry-level or part-time work such as in data entry, being a virtual personal assistant, or performing other entry-level administrative work. All remote jobs require you to have good time management and personal communication skills.

Job description

Job Description
A warm, multicultural family near Vinings is seeking a part-time nanny/mother's helper to support their energetic 2-year-old daughter and newborn son (due in June). Their daughter is highly social, confident, and playful, with a big personality-she loves reading, puzzles, outdoor play, and creative activities. The family is looking for an engaging, bubbly, and nurturing nanny who can create fun, developmentally appropriate activities while also helping establish structure, including transitioning her to crib sleeping, supporting nap routines, and assisting with potty training. The role will also include care for the newborn, such as supporting feeding routines, engaging in tummy time, encouraging developmental milestones, and following a Montessori-inspired, hands-on approach with reading, narration, and outdoor walks. The nanny will primarily work alongside a stay-at-home mom and may occasionally provide additional newborn support. Light household duties include tidying up after the children, family laundry (including bed linens), unloading dishes, and washing bottles. The ideal candidate is punctual, communicative, positive, and genuinely warm, bringing a calm, no-gossip, professional presence into the home.
