Position Description
The Department of Statistics in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) of Harvard University seeks to appoint a tenured full professor in Statistics in the area of statistics and AI. We seek outstanding candidates whose research advances the interface of statistics and AI, from foundational and methodological developments to integrated approaches to trustworthy AI-enabled discovery. The tenured full professor will contribute to teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates are required to have a doctorate.
Additional Qualifications
Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching, advising, and research is desired. Candidates should also evince intellectual leadership and impact on the field and potential for significant contributions to the department, University, and wider scholarly community.
