What is a station assistant?

Station Assistants are frontline staff who work at transportation hubs such as train stations, bus terminals, or metro stations. Their main responsibilities include assisting passengers with inquiries, ticketing, directions, and safety procedures. They also help maintain order and cleanliness within the station, respond to emergencies, and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities. Station Assistants play a key role in providing customer service and supporting the efficient functioning of transport services.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a station assistant, and why are they important?
