BluePearl in Christiana, DE is seeking a full time boarded or residency trained criticalist to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. Our current critical care department has a high caseload and is a growing service. Our critical care service has highly qualified, dedicated technicians and is fully staffed with 9 ER clinicians.
Our move has brought us to the community of Christiana in New Castle County, where we serve the entire Delmarva region, including Wilmington, Newport, Stanton, and Newark.
Our 20,000 square foot hospital is equipped with advanced suites and technology to provide compassionate care for pets. Special features include Separate dog and cat waiting areas, Expanded ICU with 24-hour monitoring, On-site CT scanner for detailed imaging, I-131 radioactive iodine treatment for cats with hyperthyroidism, and Surgical suite offering life-changing procedures like total hip replacement surgery. We also have a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center with both land and hydrotherapy/underwater treadmills.
For the humans, we have a large conference room for onsite meetings and Continuing Education events.
We know having an engaged team is critical to the care of our patients and the running of the hospital. We truly have a team approach to patient care at every level. This is a great work environment with staff and clinicians who approach patient care with enthusiasm and collaboration to ensure that the most compassionate care is achieved for patients and their families. We also work with several veterinary technician programs in the area.
