This position is located in our Raynham, MA location.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

University Orthopedics is seeking a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapist to join our Physical Therapy staff. The Physical Therapist completes comprehensive examinations to determine body structure and function level impairments, activity limitation and participation restrictions. Establishes diagnosis, prognosis and develops an individualized plan of care. Implements treatment interventions and performs on-going evaluations through-out episode of care.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Evaluate patients of various ages with musculoskeletal dysfunction
  • Design and discuss appropriate treatment interventions based on findings in evaluation
  • Perform necessary documentation to ensure compliance with federal and insurance regulations
  • Manage patient progress through therapy
  • Provide timely and appropriate billing information for services provided
  • Other clinical duties as assigned by PT Department to meet patient needs
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of MA & State of RI
  • Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Attention to detail
  • Team oriented professional
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skill
  • Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary.
