Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST T32, PDD1256000 and is part of the AZ SMM, National Guard.

This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona with the State Surface Maintenance Management Office (SMM). The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance tasks involved in developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising on and/or improving maintenance management operations and procedures.

  • ARIZONA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. Prior to appointment into this position, selectee must be a current member of the Arizona Army National Guard, in a military organization supported by the SMM.
  • This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
  • Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
  • Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Must possess or able to obtain an unrestricted and current state driver's license.
  • Must be able to gain and maintain access to the AZ-ARNG network and all applicable sites and systems necessary to perform duties.

Qualifications
Military Grades: Must possess
Enlisted: SGT/E-5 to SGM/CSM/E-9
Warrant Officer Candidate: WOC
Warrant officer: WO1/ W1
Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess an Army MOS
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.
Education
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
