REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President of Retail Experience

JOB SUMMARY:

State Employees Credit Union ("State ECU"), a $1.3 billion financial institution serving Members throughout New Mexico, including the greater Albuquerque Metro area, in conjunction with Priority Financial Group (PFG) is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our Team. This position combines the stability of a salaried role with the earning potential and flexibility of an advisory practice. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven, client-first environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Licensed Financial Advisor (Series 7 and 66 required)
  • 2+ years of client-facing advisory experience preferred
  • CFP® designation is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for delivering client-first, fiduciary advice

About the Opportunity:

As a Financial Advisor, you'll be embedded within State ECU branches, providing Members with personalized financial planning and investment guidance. You'll receive an active referral stream from branch employees and have opportunities for both branch coverage and an inherited book of business.

This is a true growth opportunity. You'll work collaboratively with the Credit Union team to train staff on identifying referral opportunities, conduct member education workshops, and help expand the visibility of the Credit Union's budding investment program.
