Job Summary
The Dock Associate is responsible for loading and unloading freight efficiently while maintaining organization and
safety on the dock. This position supports accurate and on-time deliveries through careful freight handling and documentation.
 
Key Responsibilities
1.    Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude, providing courteous and efficient service to all team members and customers.
2.    Utilize knowledge of warehouse layout to access products efficiently.
3.    Load and unload freight safely using appropriate material-handling equipment (e.g., forklift).
4.    Use RF scanner for package tracking to ensure on-time, error-free delivery.
5.    Accurately sort packages by customer and delivery routes.
6.    Maintain safety and security by following operational procedures and protocols.
7.    Keep dock areas clean and organized to prevent accidents or injuries.
8.    Perform daily inspections for compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
9.    Collaborate with team members to improve dock operations and best practices.
10.    Protect company assets and confidential information in accordance with policy.
 
Education & Experience
•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    Proven experience as a dock or warehouse associate.
•    Ability to operate a forklift and scan freight (required).
