Position summary
Sikich is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to join our team. In this client-facing leadership role, you will oversee the successful delivery of maintenance and operations services, ensuring projects are executed efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader who excels at managing delivery teams, mitigating risks, driving operational excellence, and ensuring services are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements.

What will you do in this role?
  • Lead the delivery of maintenance and operations services to ensure successful project execution. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
  • Manage project schedules, resource planning, and overall delivery timelines.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide leadership and oversight to project teams while ensuring deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing maintenance, operational activities, and cloud-based SaaS initiatives.
  • Drive issue resolution and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the engagement.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and operational performance.
 
What do you need to succeed in this role?
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time experience serving as a Delivery Manager or Support Manager in a maintenance and operations environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing a team of at least 5 full-time resources.
  • Strong Salesforce experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience performing schedule management, risk management, service level agreement (SLA) management, and problem/issue management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) development project.
  • Bachelor's degree required, or an additional 4 years of qualifying experience performing schedule management, risk management, SLA management, and problem/issue management in lieu of the degree.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Current Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing oversight of system maintenance, operations, or development activities.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the base compensation range for this role is 175,000– 187,500– 200,000k. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for roles in our Government Services pillar are determined by contract with the specific government agency Sikich is servicing.
