PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

In a Constitutional Office\r\nthis class is accountable for directing the management of all agency\r\ninformation technology systems, applications development, systems maintenance\r\nand related functions.\r\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Ten (10) years of experience in computer or network\r\noperations, systems development, information technology analysis and planning.\r\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years of the General Experience must have been in a lead\r\ncapacity.\r\n\r\n\r\nNOTE: For state employees this experience is\r\ninterpreted at the level of an Information Technology Analyst 3.\r\n\r\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED

\r\n College training in management information\r\n systems, computer science or an information technology related area may be\r\n substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester\r\n hours equalling one half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4)\r\n years for a Bachelor's degree.\r\n A\r\n Master's degree in management information systems, computer science or\r\n electrical engineering may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the\r\n General Experience.\r\n \r\n\r\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\r\n Experience with ERP Systems, especially PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials and Supply Chain.\r\n Experience in Financials and Supply Chain applications.\r\n Experience managing Peoplesoft applications or a similar ERP system.\r\n Experience with DevOps practices and tools.\r\n Demonstrates effective leadership and communication.\r\n Demonstrates effective team and project management.\r\n \r\n Experience with State Financial and Procurement policies and procedures.\r\n Experience analyzing business processes and requirements and implementing solutions.\r\n Experience with public sector financial and procurement systems.\r\n Experience analyzing information technology system problems and implementing effective solutions.\r\n Experience with information technology including security, reporting and relational databases.\r\n Experience communicating with a diverse group both written and orally.\r\n\r\n
