State Client information

What is a state client?

State Clients typically refer to individuals, organizations, or entities that receive services, support, or benefits from a state government or its agencies. These clients can include citizens, businesses, or other groups that interact with state departments for various needs, such as healthcare, social services, or licensing. The term is commonly used in public administration to describe the relationship between the government and those it serves. State Clients may also refer to software components in computer science that interact with stateful services, but in the context of government, it usually means recipients of state services.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a state client?

I'm sorry, but 'State Client' is not a recognized real-world professional occupation, so I cannot provide a relevant answer.

How do state client roles typically interact with government agencies, and what collaboration skills are important?

State Client professionals often serve as liaisons between their organization and various government agencies, which requires strong communication and relationship-building skills. They are responsible for interpreting state regulations, coordinating project updates, and ensuring compliance with government standards. Successful candidates should be comfortable navigating bureaucratic processes, working with multidisciplinary teams, and addressing the unique needs of public sector stakeholders. Effective collaboration and adaptability are key to managing evolving priorities in this public-facing role.

The main difference between a State Client and a State Contractor is that the State Client is a government agency or department acting as the project owner or purchaser, while the State Contractor is a private entity or individual hired to perform services or work for the government. The roles often overlap in credentials and work environment, but their functions within government projects differ significantly.

Job description

What if you could help build something, instead of just stepping into a role that already exists?

Midwest Bird & Exotic Animal Hospital has been a Chicago institution for 20+ years, with an exotic medicine reputation that draws clients from five states. Now, with a larger facility opening just blocks away this spring, we're growing our canine and feline services into an all-day practice. This is a rare chance to shape that growth from the ground up, in a brand-new space built for it.

The Opportunity:

Help build our daytime canine and feline caseload, currently rooted in exotics, into an all-day general practice

A distinctive mix of growing daytime GP and extended-hours ER exposure, with emergency care beginning after 4 PM

Flexibility to shape your canine and feline caseload around your interests, with or without exotics

CE stipend, peer learning, leadership support, and potential ownership pathways through NVA

At least 3-5 years of experience as a canine & feline DVM in GP or urgent care is required for this role

The Resources:

A brand-new, larger facility opening a few blocks away this spring

11 exam rooms, 2 surgery suites, and a dedicated dental suite planned

Dedicated spaces designed to support canine, feline, emergency, and exotic medicine

A multi-state client base and an established, well-known referral reputation

The Lifestyle:

Set in Elmwood Park, minutes from Chicago's Northwest Side and its rich Italian and Polish dining scene

Quick access to River Forest, Oak Park's Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, and the forest preserves along the Des Plaines River

An easy drive or Metra ride into downtown Chicago

ProSal Compensation & Benefits:

Starting salary of $125,000-$140,000 plus production bonuses

   401(k) with company match

Access to CE courses (dentistry, ultrasound, surgery, and more) at NVA's nearby PetOne Training Center in Addison, IL

Professional liability coverage, DEA and state licensing, and VIN membership

PTO, paid CE, and CE/licensing reimbursement

   Comprehensive health insurance coverage plans

   Generous staff pet discounts

Final compensation commensurate with experience, skills, schedule, and scope of services provided

If you've ever wanted to put your fingerprints on a hospital's future instead of inheriting its past, this is your sign.
