Assembly members regularly collaborate with colleagues, advocacy groups, and constituents to ensure that their legislative decisions reflect both local and statewide priorities.

What is a state assembly?

A State Assembly is the lower house of the legislative branch in many U.S. states, responsible for creating, debating, and passing state laws. Members of the State Assembly, often called assembly members or representatives, are elected by residents of specific districts within the state.
