Job Summary**
The Rework Operator at Hyve Solutions Corporation is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electronic components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This role requires precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities**
* Perform visual inspection of electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and assemblies for defects, damage, and compliance with quality specifications.
* Utilize hand tools, soldering irons, and rework stations to remove, replace, and re-solder surface mount (SMT) and through-hole components.
* Conduct basic troubleshooting of non-conforming products to identify root causes of failures.
* Apply rework techniques such as wire modification, trace repair, and component alignment according to engineering drawings and rework instructions.
* Operate and maintain rework equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
* Document rework activities, including defects found, repairs made, and time taken, in the designated system.
* Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and production teams to address recurring issues and improve manufacturing processes.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
Job Qualifications**
