Job description

We're hiring a Senior Visual Designer to own how Antimetal shows up in the world.
This is a craft-at-speed role at the center of our brand. As our first dedicated visual designer for comms and marketing, you'll define how our brand is expressed across every touchpoint-our visual identity, marketing site, launches, campaigns, and social presence-and make everything we say publicly feel as sharp and considered as the product itself. You'll work directly with our executive suite and act as a tastemaker who raises the visual bar across the whole company.
About Antimetal
Antimetal is building the future of infrastructure management. We're starting by creating a platform that investigates, resolves, and prevents issues-giving engineers their time back to focus on what they do best: building great products.
What You'll Do:
  • Own and evolve Antimetal's visual identity-extending the brand system across every touchpoint, digital and physical, with pixel-perfect consistency.
  • Design and ship our marketing site and campaign landing pages, from first concept to polished, production-ready visuals.
  • Lead the visuals behind launches, announcements, and campaigns-translating a deeply technical product into imagery that's clear, confident, and memorable.
  • Create social graphics, blog art, event assets, and merch people actually want to keep.
  • Build scalable templates, guidelines, and asset systems so the whole team can move fast without breaking the brand.
  • Partner closely with marketing and growth to take campaigns from idea to shipped-giving and receiving sharp critique along the way.
  • Collaborate with product designers to maintain polish parity across branding and product

What you bring:
  • A portfolio that shows exceptional visual craft-brand systems, web design, and campaign work with real business impact.
  • Sharp command of typography, layout, color, and composition; a refined eye for detail and visual storytelling.
  • Experience designing for the web-marketing sites and landing pages that are both beautiful and effective.
  • Range across mediums: digital, social, print, presentations, events.
  • Fluency in modern design tools-including AI tools that expand your speed and creative range-and comfort producing high volumes of assets without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience translating technical or complex products into visually compelling narratives.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-performance startup environment where you balance meticulous detail with rapid execution.

Bonus:
  • Motion design or video editing chops (After Effects, Rive, or similar).
  • Experience with developer tools, infrastructure, or other technical B2B brands with a premium aesthetic.
  • Front-end sensibility-you know what's feasible on the web and can work hand-in-hand with engineers (or ship simple pages yourself in Framer/Webflow).
  • Illustration or 3D skills that give the brand extra range.
  • Knowledge of highly technical audiences and their unique taste (as well as how to push the boundaries of said taste).
  • Experience as the first or early brand/marketing designer at a startup, building the function from the ground up.

Who you are:
  • Identify as a builder.
  • Are excited to work in-person from our new and spacious office in New York.
  • Love working in a startup environment (experience in a startup or obsession with going zero-to-one).
  • Enjoy working with people who are ambitious, caring, and think in systems.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced iterative environment where experimentation is essential.
  • Can admit when you're wrong, and enjoy working with others that do too.

What we bring:
  • Pay & ownership - Competitive salary with generous equity grants.
  • Full coverage + retirement - Fully covered health, dental, and vision, plus retirement benefits.
  • Unlimited PTO - Take the time you need to recharge.
  • Dinner on late nights - Working late? Dinner is on us.
  • Fitness stipend - Monthly support for your health and wellness.
  • Tools of the trade - Any equipment you need to do your best work.
  • Commute perks - Citi Bike + train benefits.

Interview process:
  1. Application Review - Send us your stuff, and a quick note on why you're excited.
  2. Intro Chat: Share what you're looking for next and learn more about what we're building.
  3. Portfolio & Craft Interviews: We'll have you complete a short exercise specific to the role.
  4. Onsite: Come onsite and meet the team through a series of 1:1 interviews, while also having the chance to share your work.
  5. Decision - We'll move fast.
