Our client's dynamic in-house creative and digital team is at the forefront of shaping customer experiences across diverse platforms, bringing cutting-edge campaigns to life that resonate with millions and is seeking a highly skilled Visual Designer to create compelling, customer-focused experiences across digital, print, social, video, email, web, and emerging channels. This role supports multiple energy brands and works closely with creative, marketing, development, SEO, personalization, and operations teams to bring integrated campaigns to life.
The Visual Designer combines strong creative thinking with technical digital execution, developing compelling visual solutions that strengthen our brands, improve customer experiences, and support business objectives. This role contributes to website experiences, campaign launches, personalization initiatives, digital optimization efforts, social media, paid media, video, print, and emerging AI-enabled creative workflows.
The ideal candidate is passionate about design, customer experience, accessibility, and innovation. They are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating across disciplines, and leveraging modern platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and AI-powered creative tools to deliver scalable marketing solutions. Requires 5-7 years of experience in design, digital marketing, or a related field and reports to the Creative Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver creative assets across web, email, social media, display advertising, mobile, print, video, events, and customer communications.
  • Create engaging customer experiences for websites, landing pages, promotional campaigns, and digital journeys across multiple brands.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, translators, marketers, developers, and product stakeholders to create integrated marketing solutions.
  • Support website creation, content updates, and digital experiences within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Design responsive digital experiences that meet accessibility, usability, SEO, and performance best practices.
  • Develop creative concepts and campaign executions from brief through launch.
  • Produce high-quality digital assets including page layouts, banners, illustrations, animations, infographics, and interactive content.
  • Support personalization and customer journey initiatives through modular and scalable design approaches.
  • Contribute to testing and optimization efforts, including A/B testing, conversion optimization, and customer experience improvements.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
  • Leverage AI-powered creative technologies to improve efficiency, scale asset production, and enhance creative development.
  • Ensure all work aligns with established brand standards while identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving digital design best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Participate in strategic discussions and contribute creative solutions that support acquisition, retention, engagement, and customer experience goals.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong visual design, UI, and digital experience design skills with expertise in layout, typography, color, motion, and brand systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related tools.
  • Experience with Figma and collaborative design workflows.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), user experience, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Knowledge of SEO, AEO, website optimization, and conversion-focused design principles.
  • Experience creating assets for social media, email marketing, paid media, websites, video, and print.
  • Ability to develop creative that balances customer needs, brand strategy, and business objectives.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, GenStudio, or similar technologies.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and projects.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and creative excellence.

Experience:
  • 5-7 years in an agency or in-house creative group

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid, Mon - Thurs in office
  • Some overtime is required as special projects arise
  • Day travel and some overnight stays but not common
