Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in running a low latency and high availability, large-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience with Cloud engineering.
  • Experience with Identity and Authentication.

Responsibilities
  • Establish the strategy for the next-gen authentication stack for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Identity.
  • Enable agentic identity through credentials exchange for agents.
  • Develop and grow talent through hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers.
  • Drive technical projects and provide technical leadership to inspire team to innovate, design, and implement advanced capabilities for identity compliance and sovereignty.
  • Collaborate across all of Technical Infrastructure and GCP with product managers, technical program managers, and other software engineer managers to deliver on product goals.
