Job description

The Wasserstrom Company is the leading Food Service Distributor in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.  We currently have a Material Handler position available in our Distribution Center in Columbus, Ohio. Wasserstrom has NEW MARKET PAY RATES!!!

This position is responsible for loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform, picking/put-away/counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities, utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item/quantity/location to pick and/or receive, and operating of multiple pieces of motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner. Wasserstrom offers first shift starting at 4am and 11am. Monday-Friday work schedule with Saturdays required when needed. 

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. and the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  1 - 2 years previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
