Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to classroom teachers and their students.
  • Willingness to learn about developmentally appropriate practices in educating young children.
  • Assist in providing hands-on activities for children.
  • Provide support to individual children or small groups of children for teacher instruction.
  • Assist in producing and organizing the learning environment, equipment and materials.
  • Provide other assistance as requested by the teachers.
  • Playground/lunchroom supervision.
  • Ability to walk long distances.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must have an Associate's degree or have passed the WorkKeys assessment
