An opportunity is available for dedicated paraprofessionals to support students with diverse needs, including those with autism and behavioral challenges, in a dynamic educational environment near Chicago, IL. This contract position runs the entire 2025-2026 school year, beginning in August and ending in May, with interviews commencing the week of June 22.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) or Paraprofessional Certificate required
  • Experience supporting students with autism or behavioral needs in school settings is highly preferred
  • Comfortable working with a range of ages (from early childhood through young adults, ages 3-21)
  • Able to adapt in both classroom aide roles and as an individual aide
  • Collaborative spirit and commitment to fostering inclusion and growth for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on guidance and support to students with various disabilities across grade levels
  • Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized learning plans
