Clinical Manager- Pediatric Service Line Night Flex

Komansky Children's Hospital inpatient units include general pediatrics, pediatric stepdown, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Pediatric nurses at Komansky Children's Hospital have a commitment to excellence, providing high-quality patient and family-centered care. As the Pediatric Service Line Clinical Manager, you will lead a Magnet designated nursing team and collaborate with the transformational leaders of the entire pediatric team, working closely with the three units' Patient Care Directors and fellow Clinical Managers.
This Clinical Manager position is for the Inpatient Pediatric Service Line at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center Komansky Children's Hospital.
This is a full time 10-hour Night Flex shift position, four shifts per week (including weekends with flexibility to meet the needs of the unit).
Preferred Criteria:
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Master's in Nursing or related field
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board certification
  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN experience
Required Criteria:
  • At least twoyears of pediatric experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership competencies
