Required Skills:
Performed two (2) major upgrades of the STARLIMS application, data, and reports, where "major" is defined as a whole number version upgrade, e.g., version 10.X to 11.X.
5 years of experience working with Laboratory staff and equipment and making changes to the STARLIMS application and/or support software to provide the needed functionality.
5 years of experience configuring user interfaces and reports using the STARLIMS Report Generator.
5 years of experience programming in SQL procedural language.
3 years of experience developing and implementing reports using Crystal Reports.
5 years of experience with STARLIMS data extractions and table structure, assay building, and laboratory instrument interfacing.
3 years of experience mentoring and training Laboratory and technical staff on the operational and technical aspects of the STARLIMS application.
Must have experience with STARLIMS software.
Must have knowledge of the STARLIMS product and service offerings.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with the latest offerings of STARLIMS and STARLIMS Cloud Services.
Should have at least one (1) engagement in migrating an on-premise STARLIMS application to a Cloud/SaaS solution.
Should have at least one (1) engagement where a STARLIMS application was migrated from one version to a version that was greater than 1 major release, e.g., from Build 5 to 7.
