Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup Operator to join our dynamic team in Berea, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our CNC lathe machines are set up and operated efficiently to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to specifications and production schedules.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Department to ensure all production meets customer specification.

  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain product quality.

  • Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.

  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

  • Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine operations.

  • Manages and coaches CNC lathe Operators.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role 2-3 years required.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and setup procedures.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
