The HR Business Partner performs a full range of human resources activities to support Standard Electric's managers, associates, and the HR team. This position focuses on Sonepeople to ensure Standard Electric is utilizing the system to its fullest, maintaining system integrity, reporting, and being the system expert. The HRBP should be proactive in improving Standard Electric's processes and communicating with SUSA regarding improvements for the future.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assists in maintaining all components of the Sonepeople portal including Dayforce Payroll & Timekeeping, Core HR, Performance Management, Talent Planning, Applicant Tracking System, On-boarding, Compensation, and the Learning Management System (Electronic Personnel Files). 
  • Partner closely with managers to assist with their associates as needs arise. 
  • Responsible for other administrative tasks including but not limited to communications or memos, maintain current and accurate Intranet information, prepare correspondence, record personnel information, and maintain personnel files (associate records, I-9s, etc).
  • Assist in recruitment, pre-hire, onboarding, and performance management activities. 
  • Responds to all customers' inquiries about HR policies and procedures and refers to manager as needed.

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Performs all assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with Standard Electric policies. 
  • Participates in and follows all Standard Electric policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Code of Conduct, Ethics, etc)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum education requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with an HR emphasis preferred. In lieu of bachelor's degree, will consider an associate degree with 5+ years of HR related experience. SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred.
