Job description

  • Responsible for Facility, Stamping and Welding Maintenance
  • Ensure daily maximum production quantity and quality
  • Support the policies, goals, and objectives of the company
  • Plan and schedule project timelines relating to all maintenance activities
  • Constant monitoring of processes for improvement activity
  • Participate in New Model equipment specifications, implementation, validation, and process development
  • Ensure efficient manpower balance
  • Negotiate and oversee all contracts relating to Maintenance Department
  • Develop, maintain and oversee the proper implementation on Preventive Maintenance Activities
  • Develop Training Schedules for all Maintenance Associates
  • Monitor, assess and develop improvement plans for Maintenance Skill Level
  • Develop Business Plan for overall Maintenance Department
  • Create, Monitor and implement cost savings activities
  • Work with other departments in responding to customer complaints
  • Oversee and monitor all work being conducted by contractors
  • Monitor, assess and ensure the facility is in compliance with all state, local and federal regulations
  • Work with departments and support all activities to make sure the company maintains its ISO/TS/IATF certifications.
  • Report monthly metrics to upper management
  • Be available and support as needed for emergency equipment issues.
  • Report per escalation policy for equipment issues
  • Participate or designate a participant for improvement meetings for welding and stamping
  • Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) from an accredited University and two years of related technical experience and/or training; or five years of equivalent combination of education and experience
