Neri Building & Development is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher / Skilled Tradesman to join our construction team. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking professional with hands-on experience in concrete finishing who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
This position will primarily involve stamped and decorative concrete, flatwork, slabs, and general construction/trades work on residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
  • Place, screed, level, float, edge, and finish concrete
  • Perform broom, smooth, and other architectural concrete finishes
  • Install stamped and decorative concrete
  • Apply release agents, color hardeners, integral colors, and sealers
  • Assist with forming and preparation for slabs, patios, walkways, sidewalks, and other flatwork
  • Properly establish grades, elevations, slopes, and finished surfaces
  • Saw-cut and install/control concrete joints
  • Perform concrete repairs and miscellaneous masonry/construction work
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete saws, compactors, and related equipment
  • Assist with general construction and skilled trades work when concrete work is not underway
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
  • Work effectively with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and other members of the field team
Qualifications
  • Previous professional concrete finishing experience required
  • Strong experience with flatwork and slabs
  • Experience with stamped/decorative concrete strongly preferred
  • Ability to independently finish concrete to professional standards
  • Knowledge of proper concrete placement, finishing techniques, curing, and weather considerations
  • General construction/trades experience preferred
  • Ability to read measurements and understand grades and elevations
  • Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding construction work
  • Dependable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a professional construction team
