Job description

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facility equipment through routine maintenance, specialized repairs, and installations. Working closely within a small maintenance team, this technician supports the facility operations by maintaining equipment reliability and safety compliance while reporting directly to the Maintenance or Facility Manager. The role primarily involves routine day shifts and requires hands-on involvement with a variety of maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment repair and emergency repairs to minimize downtime
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Install and set up new equipment as required
