Job description

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES

  • Bring components to presses
  • Restock box carts and get packaging materials for lines
  • Pull finished goods from lines to packaging
  • Bring totes to presses from staging areas
  • Restock tote staging areas per staging maps and Cell Leader instructions
  • Stock production/packaging supplies at workstations; monitor inventory levels and notify Shift Leader when inventory requires reorder
  • Fill in for Production Techs while on break:
    • 20-minute breaks – mostly on single person presses on front and back rows
  • Maintain the tote staging areas, skid storage areas, and assembly and component areas
  • Other tasks as directed by Shift Leaders and Cell Leaders – in order for shift leaders to utilize available time you will need to let them know when you are available
