About the role
The Installation Technician is responsible for performing installation services for Strong Technical Services cross the United States. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and works well both on their own and within a team environment. This position will require extensive travel and will be a mix of both over the road and air travel.
What you'll do
  • Install projection screens, frames, and masking systems
  • Install cinema seating systems, drapery, and speaker systems
  • Run network and speaker cabling
  • Install display panels on walls and other surfaces
  • Install high-end LED Video Walls, and specialty displays
  • Construct and break down of scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures
  • Load and unload building materials
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding quality, specifications, and delivered condition of products
  • Willing to take ownership and take on other duties as assigned

This position requires in and out of market travel up to 100% of the time; this position requires the ability to work weekends, occasional holidays, and overnight.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of technical or installation experience preferred
  • Familiarity with power and measurement tools
  • Basic knowledge of construction techniques
  • Must be comfortable completing work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and screen frames
  • Must be able to lift weight in excess of 50lbs regularly
  • Must be able to sit, stand, push, or pull for periods of time
  • Follow safety regulations in accordance with local guidelines
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Proficient with MS Office and basic computer networking
  • Valid driver's license required; must be capable of operating non-CDL trucks with trailers
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
  • Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization
