Summary:

Assemble, pack, and install all Rogers Group products at the customer location or on the Plant floor. Traveling up to 80% of the time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Simple and complex assembly of parts according to the work order, prints, and knowledge of the unit being assembled.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Operates hand drills, tools, and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
  • Records all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.
  • Maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free, and healthy work environment.
  • Assures that the proper fit, function, and appearance are at, or exceed quality standards.
  • Confers with Manager, Team and Crew Leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production or inventory.
  • Requirement: available to travel to installation locations throughout the US at any time necessary to meet customer demands.
    • Requires significant travel with up to 80%
  • Must complete certification criteria for TSI, Rogers Athletic and StageRight installation.
  • Willing and able to work on production floor when not traveling
  • Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, decimal equivalents, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Carpentry or building experience is a plus.
  • Prefer three (3) years of assembly/installation experience on Rogers Group product line.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
  • Associates must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Practical problem solving, think analytically and work under pressure
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or work order form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Frequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.

Additional Job Information:

  • The environment is active and fast-paced.
  • Manufacturing Pre-Employment Training Certificate is preferred.
  • Must have active driver's license.
